Great deal! Totally works for a few nights. Hotel is modern, upgraded a d very clean. The bed, sheets, pillows etc were comfy, of good quality and CLEAN. Its very local. The breakfast they include was soooo good. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had- beans, eggs and ham, queso fresco, salsa etc + pan dulce and more. Only complain is the wifi sucks bad- useless. But otherwise a very convenient and good stay.
City express needs to be more handicap friendly.3rd floor with 2 ladies 77 and 97 not easy for me to carry wheelchair and belongings
The hotel is good, clean and comfort. The facilities could be better and the breakfast is little. They doesn't have dinner room service. The dinner must to be ordered to another site. The good thing is that you have a mall crossing the street
City Express by Marriott is my favorite TJ hotel. Cuz is close to almost everything. Parking lot had a 24 7 security guard. Front desk staff are very knowledgeable. Continental breakfast is great. Very clean rooms, I usually get 5th floor n I love it.
Staff doesn't speak English very well, other then that they were very friendly and the hotel gives you a comfortable sense. The room was relatively clean.. there were some items left in the fridge and the convinence water bottle had been opened already. I stayed in a suite but it barely qaulifies as such. No stove top just a mini fridge and microwave. Room was small.. just a bed and a fold out couch next to each other and the bathroom. I liked the layout it felt a little upper class but I'd hardly rate it a three star hotel.. maybe by Mexico standards.
The best continental breakfast I have ever had. Been to various states and countries and this was just amazing and extremely fresh/natural. The rooms are small and the beds are more of a full size rather than queen. The bathrooms were clean but worn out and scuffs marks were found all around the walls and shower. I would stay here again but in a queen suite, since regular rooms DO NOT have a fridge or microwave. Staff was friendly with the exception of one encounter. Computer center has 1 printer, $2 pesos per print.

Minimalist rooms but decently comfortable. Complimentary breakfast but it's very simple eggs, toast, fruit kind of thing. Probably best for people traveling for business but decent stay for the price. The wifi code didn't work that's why I took one star off.
